About PoultryProbiotics.org
A Biological System, Built for Commercial Poultry Operations
PoultryProbiotics.org applies the same ASAM biological-system approach behind TerraFerm — the same founder, the same competitive-exclusion microbiology — adapted specifically for commercial poultry water lines, gut biosecurity, and litter management, rather than TerraFerm's crop and soil focus.
Our Approach
A Practical Platform, Not a Miracle Product
This isn't a single additive dropped into the water line. It's a systems approach: competitive-exclusion biologicals introduced continuously through equipment producers already run — typically a Dosatron or proportioner — descaling water lines, stabilizing gut biosecurity, and drying out litter as one connected process, not three separate fixes. The mechanism is documented, the field data is public, and the on-site fermentation model exists specifically so producers aren't dependent on unstable, retail-priced biologicals to run it at commercial scale.

About the Author
Forrist Tanner Lytehaause
Forrist Tanner Lytehaause has spent over a decade at the intersection of applied microbiology and systems design. As Managing Director of EdenBound Probiotics, LLC (2013–2018), he developed microbial products for commercial and consumer markets, building on R&D that began in 2008. Earlier, in 2006, he founded the Health and Wellness Research Institute, designing and funding a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study overseen by an independent institutional review board.
Since 2018 he has led Planetary CARE L3C, a multi-stakeholder regenerative-agriculture cooperative built on the same cascade thinking behind this book: treat the system, not the symptom. He describes his approach as integrating systems thinking with elegant design — connecting mechanism to measurable, auditable results.
Why Poultry
A Vertical, Not a Side Project
Commercial poultry operations run on tighter margins, tighter audits, and tighter timelines than almost any other livestock vertical — feed conversion ratio, mortality, and harvest weight are measured every flock, not once a season. That's exactly the environment where a documented, mechanism-first biological system earns its keep: not a product to try, but infrastructure to run.
